9 Area Students Awarded Nearly $500,000 in Scholarships from Hampton University

The Charlotte Chapter of the National Hampton Alumni Association hosted an Early Admission and Recruitment Event for Hampton University on Saturday, Oct. 23 at the Park. Hampton University Director of Admissions Angela Boyd reviewed application materials, interviewed applicants and made admissions decisions on-site. Of the area students accepted to the University, nine were awarded scholarships totaling nearly $500,000 to attend the University.
