Annual Student
Recruitment Event, On-Site Admissions Day on Saturday, October 18 at 10 a.m.
1. This
event is geared towards local high school seniors who are interested in
attending college, specifically Hampton
University. We host
this event, in partnership Ms. Angela Boyd, Director of Admissions at
HU. The goal is to recruit and establish relationships with students and
their families. During this event, eligible
students are able to interview
for admittance with Ms. Boyd and be awarded
scholarship money on the spot if they qualify. There are quite a few
benefits to this event, one being that eligible HS seniors are awarded the very first scholarships that Hampton gives out for the school year.
As we all know, Hampton
is more expensive than many local state universities, so we love being able to
provide this opportunity to our area students.
